Actually I have two theories:

First I believe baking soda render the skin terrain difficult for yeasts and fungal forms to reproduce and second I truly believe that mites on our pillow and bed can reproduce even faster eating dry and dead skin of SD people. So after a while when using baking soda millions of mites will dye for sure because some baking soda will stay on your bed. People with SD improves a lot when they sleep in hotels why??? Because in hotels they change the clothes every single day. Do SD people have time to clean their beds on a daily basis on their homes ? No !

Why people with SD on scalp loose their hair ? For sure yeasts and fungus are there making a big party. I can make you sure that in my case washing my hair with baking soda renders it soft natural and without a single dandruff ! So it really works for me and I hope people starts using it and get same results

Drinking baking Soda improves SD for better and also improves oxygenation and even some sportsmen uses it for oxygenation but I don't know what amount they use. I use only one coffee spoon for every 500ml or 0,5 litters

If you really need a moisturizer prefer to use pure Baking soda during the night after washing face and other places with good degrease shampoo, and only in the mornings apply the moisturizer over the baking soda. It's important that baking soda powder stays in contact with skin during all day. I use a cream during the day because I'm also dry skin one but over the baking powder, then I wash my skin and use baking soda pure during the night.

But let me say that after 2 or 3 months using baking soda SD will disappear forever, it can come back only on episodes of high stressful situations then you counter attack with baking soda again.
