 What do you recommend for people who's liver function might have been compromised by the Epstein Barr Virus

The best antiviral herbs are chaparral, andrographis and pau d' arco.  Chaparral in particular has been found to destroy herpes viruses.  I also like Phyllanthus niuri (chanca piedra) and picrorrhiza, which are both excellent antivirals and liver support herbs.

and what would you recommend for dealing with the Epstein Barr Virus itself?

In addition to the above herbs I would also include turmeric, schisandra berry and milk thistle seed.
