Hi Guys,

I am also having problems with candida, but am also going through perimenopause in the process. I have leaky gut syndrome. My symptoms are chronic yeast infections, thrush, and with all that I also have anxiety, headaches, fatigue, achy joints, hypoglycemia, and many others. I have been to all sorts of doctors and all they want to do is throw me on anti Depression meds, I do take xanax for my anxiety because I lost 18 pounds in 2 weeks(from the anxiety) so they thought it best for me to take something for the anxiety. I finally went to a doctor that specializes in BHRT and he is the one that told me that I probably have leaky gut. So I tested, and sure enough
it came back positive. I have been doing the candida diet but still having problems. I aslo have to do a liver cleanse and take lamisil for 3 months. Then we are going to retest. Not only do I have to do that I also have extrememly low progesterone and am on cream for that. I have been feeling very alone in this and that makes matters worse. I have already done the candida diet once before about 9 years ago but was not given the right info so my diet was not as restricted as it needed to be. I only masked the yeast infections and the thrush. So it continued to manifest itself. My symptoms became prevalent again about a year ago (which is when the anxiety started). Any help would be appreciated even if it is just to talk. By the way I already tried all the natural methods. They seemed to work for a while but then not helping like they used to. That is why the doctor wants me to do the other route. He also would have liked for me to do the natural route.
