The name of the detox game for me is focusing on the word 'while'.

A friend told me that part of what our problem is as Americans is that 'multi-tasking makes us stupid'. lolol - I do believe this. I am proof of it, in some ways. I've been spinning the last few days (literally) trying to keep caught up.

However, if we use the word 'while' and not 'multi' - it has a different frequency. Something we can do 'while' we sit still or have a pot on the stove is good detox. I believe that means we'll keep it as part of our lifestyle for longer if our memory is triggered by stuff we can be doing (later on) while a pot is on the stove, etc. Can't figure out when you can have your eyes burning from eyebright tincture and not need to use them? Do it while you're voiding a coffee enema.

What my multi-tasking looks like on this front:
Now - I have a 2 new sets of tincture bottles (in addition to the bigger ones that are stationary on my desk). I recycled all the tincture bottles I had from years passed, took a cute paint marker and made new sets of all the tinctures I currently need to take. So that - if I leave the house or I'm say...in the bathroom doing a coffee enema - I have a set near me and can't possibly think 'shoot, I'm wheezing and I don't have any Lobelia!'.

One of these sets stays in the bathroom in a cute little tacklebox/toolbox with my stethoscope, castor oil for my bum (it's more viscous and I find it works better for enemas than olive oil to lube the tube, as it were).

Contents of tacklebox:
a bamboo skewer (blunt end works well when cleaning the enema tube)
a metal shish kabob skewer for poking and prodding things with
a massage/reflexology tool to do liver/gallbladder points
a laminated copy of foot reflexology chart
a set of 1oz. tinctures of everything I could need (including Eyebright)
an eye wash cup
a stethoscope
a small jar of castor oil
a 4oz. ball jar of superfood
a 4oz. ball jar of IF2
a small thing of BF&C oil
a foam ball for hand exercises
**(no cayenne powder, I learned that taking it & gettin horizontal is stupid)

While retaining fluid:
Massage BF&C oil into your face or problem spots while you're retaining solution. It reminds you to love yourself while you're focusing on retaining fluid. If you need hand strengthening love time, this is a good time to do it. Of course, you can read, I just find I have castor oil on my hands and I get it on my pages. I listen, most often, to audios on my ipod when I do an enema. To make sure I don't get my ipod near watery stuff, it stays in a little fanny pack and when I get up to void, I put the strap over my shoulder like a purse.

While you're voiding:
Have your Eyebright tincture and cup next to you and you do the eye wash while voiding. You don't need clear vision to void (insert joke here). In between 'pulls', take your tinctures or doses of superfood and IF2. If you make a little tacklebox that stays in the bathroom, you're sure to stay on top of your doses or have help where you need it. If you need to put Lobelia in an enema solution as ya think you're gonna cramp (hello high enema) - then it's already there!

ps - Don't be drawn in by expensive 'art' tackleboxes EVER. Get them where fishermen buy their stuff. They're the real deal, a fraction of the cost and have more fun compartments. If later, while you're at Michaels getting a Chalk Ink marker and a piece of poster board and you see a pack of stickers that makes you happy for a buck - get them. Put them on your tacklebox. Yes, my little black tacklebox has colorful butterflies on it. So what of it?!? lol - If colorful paint markers on tincture bottles and stickers on your tacklebox makes it more fun to go on your 'field trip' to the potty for an enema - then so be it. That few extra bucks was well spent. ;)
