Allah, the creator, the benefactor and the most gracious. He is my comfort when I am sad and he is my friend when I am lonely. He needs no one to defend him as he is all powerful.

I write this story not to backbite anyone but to warn us all that even though we might forgive someone Allah is the decider of all punishment.

My husband's family treated him real bad before he died over money. It is the worst sin in the world as far as I am concerned to care more about your pocket than the one is poor and especially if that one person is your brother.

So the day he died everyone cried and weeped and it appeared to the world as if they were the best people in the world, but this was not the case.

Years later after the deeds were done and worst they had abandoned me, the aunt started having dreams of my husband and she asked me, "Did ..... die hating me?" I asked her why and she told me of a dream.

Now this month it has 8 years since he died and I have seen such awful destruction of the lives of those who did us wrong. The brother who caused the most damage from day number one has been fired and lost his job many times. HE is practically destitute.

The aunt is sick constantly, his closest brother who has done many things got divorced and is in a middle of a huge mess and recently lost 3 babies not being conceived. The sister who was the worst has never married and has had constant problems and well the list goes on.

As I returned today from a friend's house and she told me what is going on in this family I only shutter with the fear of Allah that he never forgets what someone does to us.
I pray I am not one of those who Allah is angry with on this evening also.

So if you have done wrong to anyone quickly seek Allah's forgiveness and as a tradition in Islam to remedy this wrong with a gift. Pray for this person constantly and ask Allah to forgive the both of you.

You will know the sign of a true believer by the fear in his heart. We are lucky fellow Muslims to worship a forgiving God and we are lucky my friends to have knowledge.

I felt so inclined to tell this story and I am afraid of Allah's wrath also. May you all benefit from this story.
