Yes, and it's also scary to realize that these drugs are tested under the situation/assumption that it would be the ONLY drug taken and the only variable. We see the harmful side effects of each drug alone -- but many people are taking multiples at the same time with unknown exponentional problems!

I think it's interesting that many contestants enter the "Biggest Loser" taking multiple prescription drugs, and sometime during the process of losing weight they are able to get off of all or most of the drugs. That's simple weight loss+exercise, and in the realm of conventional medicine, and I think it's a powerful message as to the power of food (both good and bad), lifestyle and prescription medicines.

Interesting times we live in!
