Hi scarface - You might want to read "The Mood Cure" by Julia Ross. It's a book about the ways that Depression and other mood disorders can be treated with nutrition and supplements. It has a chapter on treating drug and alcohol issues, and it has very specific recommendations that might help you a lot. I don't know if this book is available in the UK.
