Hi Ian: It takes a man to go on line and admit he made a mistake!! Sorry to hear about your friend. I think the "Beware of John E." goes back to my earlier days in 1953 when I was in Italy and met Lucky Luciano. It can't be about my water machines because the lab tests on 5 machines (York Labs) shows 57.91 ppm down to "less than" 0.07 ppm (827 times purer than the tap water compared to our closest competitor only 9 times purer). 0.1 is pure water and even the best lab stills can't go that low and yet they don't mention that none of the "pure water" products make pure water!!However, later we discovered it wasn't the purity because the "light" tap water produces great results! The SFU chemistry prof has been ostracized by the university! Read about it!! Actually, all the added publicity has helped my business which explains why I haven't taken any action against these people. They are easy to track down in the same way the FBI locates perverts. We have Bludini's name and address with the phone bills showing over 1000 calls to our 800 number in two months (no kidding)!
I was on the American Track Team in 1953 in Brescia, Italy when a man in a limo with U.S. plates pulled up and said: "Great throw. Do you want a ride back to the hotel in Brescia?" With U.S. plates instead of Italian I figured he must be somebody important. He invited me to a party the next day at Lake Garda and his driver picked me up. People called him "Lucky" but I didn't realize he was Lucky Luciano until he gave me a card with a number to call in Brooklyn, NY if I ever had "a problem". When I was 30 I owned a company with 50 employees and the head of a labor union called to unionize my business. At the time, this would put me out of business so I called the number in Brooklyn and that was the end of the problem that probably gave me the "Beware of John E." label to this day. The man building my estate in Shohola, Pa built over 600 shopping centers including the estates for people that most people have heard of. I mention that because he next time he hosts a party at the property I will let you know. Best...John
