Hello redk and all others,

I am new to this forum and only discovered it after looking up "possible side effects of Mirena" after ending up in the hospital with palpitations/tachychardia (sorry about spelling). I have had mine for 3 years and for the past 8 months starting noticing migraines every month and the last 2 months experienced severe anxiety which last week had me in the ER. I noticed that I would get these symptoms around my period and finally looked into it this week. I was falling out of my chair reading all the posts about side effects but was also encouraged to know that I was not alone and "crazy". I have been scheduled to have it removed on Wed. and can't wait. Just wondering how you and the others have been feeling with your post Mirena?
