Hi hydroz,

Epsom salt enemas are very rough on your system. They are very purging and can cause a serious electrolyte inbalance. Instead use either a baking soda solution or a saline solution enema. (2 teaspoons of baking soda or salt per quart of water). For a deep cleanse you can use a soapsuds enema.

Taking a series enema, which what you did taking 3 enemas back to back, requires a lot of time and patience.

Without lots more info I cannot say for sure that part of your colon is numb but from my experience I think that you are expecting too much from your enemas.
