Thank you both very much for your responses. I tried to eat one clove a garlic, and my lord, I could not do it. After chewing it up it felt like my mouth was on fire. I was scared to swallow it and spit it out and rinsed my mouth out with water like someone who just ate a chili pepper. I think I need to find another way to achieve this detoxification. Thank you for the book recommendations.
