I did a few master cleanses about 2 years ago and noticed afterwards that I began to gain weight in my thighs and other areas which I had never done before. Additionally, I now have fatty liver. I have done about 20 Hulda Clark Liver Flushes so I was shocked to hear that I had fatty liver.

In April 2009 I began to get terrible allergies and my eyes water all the time. I know the liver is directly related to allergies and this timing makes sense. I just had my blood work done and it is terrible.

I've experimented with so many drugs (BHT, Miracle-Mineral-Supplement , Valtrex, Famvir, Salt/C, Baking Soda, etc., etc.) to attempt to combat herpes and it looks like pay-back will be a bitch.

I read something as well that made me think fasting and fatty liver were related. If thinking homeopathically, if the liver destroys fat, it should also create or store fat. Fasting sends the body into shock and I can see how the primary systems would go into a safety mode and attempt to store energy.

Starting tomorrow I'm beginning the Elimination Diet for one week, adding back the basics, and starting a primarily plant based diet until I can get my weight back under control.

I must say, I will never fast again if I can help it. It is great at resetting the clock, but a good Colon Cleanse and juice, fruit, and vegetable fasting just seems so less drastic and better for you. The quick fix is fun, but I believe it to be far more harmful than good.
