Hi LenaB..What you described is me to a tee. It seems to last for 2-3 days at a time. The heartburn, weird pressure in your chest. Even a sharp pain right in the middle of my chest. I also have the feeling of air or something doing a flip right in the middle of my chest. That's the best way to describe it. I have the acid, but it's the gas and pressure that makes me think I am having a heart attack. The only thing that relieves it is burping. I had occassional heartburn before, and now it's a regular part of my life. I have been trying to ween myself from constantly taking meds for it, but it happens no matter what I eat or don't eat. I also feel like I am going to choke or something, when I have it realy bad. I am wondering if it could be my gallbladder or something else? I also have a dull ache right in the middle of my back.
