White willow bark is an anti-inflammatory, but not a real strong one.

What would work better is clove oil if you have some. Clove oil is a strong analgesic. It needs to be diluted with a little olive oil though first so it will not kill the nerve. If you don't have the oil try moistening a clove bud then hold it against the tooth.
