Yep! This never happened to me until 2 months after removal. It turned out to be related to Acid Reflux which developed after removal and has been slowly disappearing ever since. Not saying you have reflux, too, just that throat problems seem to be common after removal (and I guess sometimes while mirena is still in!). My reflux came back this last period and has since resolved, but I'm still having the feeling of my throat closing a bit after I eat.
