I agree with a lot of what you say, but not about health care. Modern "health care" as it is called, is really not health care at all...it's disease management. I am 63 and have gone most of my life without health insurance...and I am better off for it, as I have reached this age without the need for taking any drugs of any kind. Even when I have had insurance through some job, I almost never use it.

What is "affordable" anyway? I only make $13.50 per hour. If I am forced to pay for disease management, it will cost me the money I currently spend on my acutal health care - and that REALLY ticks me off.

Health care is NOT the same as car insurance. When I drive, if I f*** up, I put others wellfare and property in danger, not just mine - and they can and will sue me. Health care, on the other hand, is private and personal.

And if I do need a doctor some day, and "taxpayers" have to pay for it...so what? I AM a taxpayer and I have been or over 50 years.
