OTOH...... Just did another QTip under the tongue @ 12:30 PM. This is the 5th experimental SLIT treatment.

SLIT #6 at 1:15pm. Still going strong. Still alive I think. According to the literature, SLIT, under the tongue Allergy Immunizations are 50% less effective than SCIT, the shots, but also SLIT is much safer than the shots---- So..... SLIT is allowed at home, without a doctor's supervision.

Now.... one might say that I don't know what I am doing. They would be right. But, OTOH, medical science hasn't figured out just how much allergen to use, and how frequently to do the SLIT protocol, etc., etc., etc., ONLY that it works and is used throughout Europe for Allergy Immunization. What could be more simpler than to stick some allergen under the tongue, at home, in the privacy of your own family, without having to fork over big bucks to a doctor who wished he had become an auto mechanic (his first dream of an occupation), instead of a doctor.

Wish me luck. I am dreading the night! We all know that allergies get worse at night. I hate the thought of being up all night long with labored breathing and a tight chest, and with heart palpitations and chest pains. Not the snuggling type of night I would rather have!
