 The effects of ozone go well beyond just killing pathogens. Since you brought up toxicity I shall mention that ozone destroys many toxins in the body through oxidation. It also boosts the immune system, kills cancer cells though a number of mechanisms, raises levels of antioxidant enzymes, breaks carbon monoxide-hemoglobin bonds, loosens the bonds between oxygen and hemoglobin to make oxygen more available to the body...............
