Chlamydia is sometimes called the silent disease because of the lack of specific symptoms. Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted disease it is caused by a bacteria called Chlamydia Trachomatis and the most common sexual infection in men. Symptoms include greenish-yellow discharge from the penis, burning on urinating, increase in the frequency of urination, itching around the opening of the penis.once diagnosed, the infection can be treated. If its left untreated, Chlamydia might clue to pelvic menace, smarting during sex, and sometimes bleeding between periods. This type of STD can be completely cured but can be caught again if your sex partner is left untreated. STD testing is a good idea for anyone who believes they have come into contact with a sexually transmitted disease. Even if there are no symptoms to warn a person of an infection living in their body, the possibility is there and STD tests can determine whether an STD is present or not
