Nice Post.
Yes, and I do believe these fibers are breathing tubes for the larva. I've noticed that the larva I pull out of the skin has a small hair-like projection.

I honestly would not use vaseline or vicks.. I believe these both contain petroleum. Any type of oil can get these out. I usually mix a carrier oil, like jojoba or olive with an essential oil and it works well. Rubbing this in gets these things out. I have used Olive-Oil + Grapefruit-Seed-Extract and Olive-Oil + Tea Tree Oil + DE and both of these work really well. I'm experimenting with other mixes. Some have reported that Eucalyptus works well.

But what causes the myiasis? These larva seem to come from egg or sand-like grains that I also pull out of the skin. The eggs *seem* to be attached to fibers that float around in the environment and are in my clothing. I can see these fibers more easily with a black light. These fibers seemed to have been in my home environment for way longer than I've been ill. I find these fibers on objects I have had in storage for many years, way before I got ill. I have family members also not affected by this. So, I go back to my fungus/mold theory. I believe these are attracted to the fungus/mold/yeast growth on our skin. I feel that attacking the fungus/mold here would also help this myiasis problem.

I have noticed that the areas on my body that are most affected by the larva seem to be the areas where I still have the most fungus/yeast overgrowth issues...

I'd like to hear some input from others on this.

Thanks for your post!!
