I see in your posts distortions...contortions and the continuation of assumptions. I also see recognizable filters casting forth a very limited and biased truth and then attempting to foist that "truth" onto me like a yogic paint by numbers arts and crafts kit. As you put it "word play," but in reverse. It is very limited, contrived, and feign attempt of discrediting information by shooting the messenger (oh so subtly).
To me, your attempt at trying to draw me into a passive aggressive pain body dance comes across as yogic ramblings in the wind.
...And they call the wind turiya....
As you gaze in the mirror, do you notice anything interesting happening? A kind of matching going on?
You seem to be wearing the very clothes that you are railing against emperor. ;-) I only bring this up because you have a certain status that you insist on measuring a person who is sharing the concept of infinite potential. How then, do you measure up to your own template? Live by the sword, die by the sword within the structure of your own game.
I guess in this game "we" are now playing, I guess it fair to bring your character into question, as this is the sword you have chosen to play with. So then, for now at least, lets play at this level you have chosen.
Turiya
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In Hindu philosophy, turiya (or chaturtha) is a state of pure consciousness. It is a fourth state of consciousness that underlies and transcends the three common states of consciousness: the state of waking consciousness (jagrata), the state of dreaming (svapna),and dreamless sleep (susupti).[1] [2]
And there's more....
What is Turiya ?
According to Mandukyopanishad - "Turiya, according to the wise , remains unaware of the external, intermediate and internal worlds.
He lies beyond both consciousness and unconsciousness; it is indescribable, bearing no relation to anything, where sight cannot penetrate, nor thought. Turiya enjoys pure awareness and experiences peace, bliss and no-duality. He is none other than Atman. Realize Him. "
Turiya is a state of mind which one achieves when he is rid of mental impressions and mental bondages of time and space. Mind is just a medium between the cosmic will and self. Once the mind stops throwing the dust of thoughts, ideas, impressions, memories, and all mental jargon, there is clarity and stillness. Through this clarity one can see and feel the cosmic power. The mind becomes the medium to experience transcendence. This mental state is Turiya.
From your very own template, perhaps you should practice what you preach (and filter others through) vs trying to paint me a certain way (shoot the messenger type of debating) for sharing a concept of infinite potential that you seem to think has a certain face to it and which clearly demonstrates a lack of experience with it. Again, infinite potential is not a concept from a book. It transcends books and belief systems (including the belief of "Turiya") and in no way requires one who realizes this to be the nature of reality, to act a certain way. That is actually amusing and uncovers bias.
If a person were to click a link to your posts they would soon find, as I did, a ton of cut and pastes, mostly through the Zen Buddhist and Hindu types of filters. I say this because you are the one trying to tag me with the "experience" thing. By your sword...
You seem to be trying to fit infinite potential into a limited yogic kind of view. That's like trying to fit the ocean in a thimble. Good luck.
Your perceptions of how a person sharing the concept of infinite potential should act, be, etc., says more about your own limited views than it does anything about the concept or the person sharing it.
As far as the "concept" of infinite potential, there is no particular way to be. You think that if someone were to realize that if all this arises out of infinite potential, they would some how fit a particular state of being. That in itself suggests a limited view and a missing of the concept altogether. Knowing that this is game doesnt necessarily have to create a sage character as the messenger of the concept. It more suggests that a tickle trunk of human clothes can be played within or not through of a myriad of choices.
Realizing that this dance we are a part of is happening out of infinite potential just opens one up to unlimited possibilities. Painting it with another bliss state happy face of how it should appear misses the point completely. Infinite potential allows for all experiences. Reread that last statment. Drop the bliss attachment and then maybe.....
This has been my point all along. Suggesting you must be saint like or a sage or even entering the yogic bliss state known as "Turiya," in order to know this state is a very limited view which sidesteps the view completely.
Btw, the "subtle" shoot the piano player approach of debating is not the art of persuasion. It is the art of deception. It is more a tactic that an agent provocateur would use.
I can shift gears along with you. How you play is how you will be met in this game. If you prefer to examine information without trying to assess a personality through filters, then we can do it that way. I am here to play with you "Attman."
One more thing...
Turiya says:
"If it were really coming out of your experience, then there would not be any need to argue, debate about it, to try to convince others of 'your way' is the only way to grow into this life. "
There is no need. Just playing and sharing in a myriad of styles. Paint away.....
Bots try and get the auto respond voting under 15 seconds. Impress me with your technology. ;-)
In the game of perception is reality , information is the key. Jangle away.
Another guy that tried to share a similar concept had to be "dealt with" because the power this information gives a person takes them far beyond the fences. Perhaps in Turiya's estimation, this messenger would not be worthy of sharing the message because he doesn't fit the yogic personality mold of "deeper awareness, stillness and calm."
Amongst the bots and the finite stories, filters and agendas...sorry John..some still just ain't gettin' it.
