Namasté Nabiyah1,
Thank you.

However, I still hold to my comment that "this does not really have anything to do with being dehydrated at all", as an aversion to water is a common experience amongst fasters, especially if they are very toxemic at the outset and during the fast itself.
The body can also be relied upon to signal its demand for water by unmistakable signs, just as when there is a demand for sleep or rest and true hunger.
But, I did not say that this was an "exclusive experience common to all" so you are quite right in highlighting that comment.

I would also question your comment in saying that there is "no hand-to-glove-fit in comparison to others"; in answer to that I would say there are experiences on a water-only-fast that are endemic amongst the vast majority of fasters, and where this is just a case in point and the reason I made my post.

Further to this I would also say that despite variations in diet, psychological state, genetics, lifestyle, health, and so on, the body does conform to universal physiological laws, and where these may help in understanding this concept.............

On that basis my comment was not "faulty in its premise and misleading for the less informed reader".

Yes, I did base my original comment on my own experience, but also from that of hundreds of thousands of other fasters from decades past to the present.

It is also true to say that we are not here offering "medical advice": but then very few here would want to do so, as we generally preach "health-advice" both from personal experience and that of experienced qualified personnel in the fasting process dating back to the mid 1800's and the inception of Natural Hygiene at that time.

It is also true to say that Shelton (and others) had anomalies within their practices and health-schools, but these were few and far between, and where the vast majority of fasters shared common experiences in the recovery of health and the eradication of their diseases.

All qualified personnel in the fasting process recommend supervision by them, but in this day and age people such as this are a rare commodity and so (like me) they are forced to undergo fasts of whatever duration on their own, and which is the reason this forum exists.

Ultimately, it is the responsibility of those seeking advice to ensure that the information that has been provided for them is accurate and reliable, and which is why I support my statements/comments with links that corroborate that viewpoint.

Take care.

Chrisb1.
