you took the best i could dish out...and took it to heart for the best message you'll ever hear on the subject. i'm proud of you. let it sink in, sleep on it, mull it over in your mind, and realize that it's time to become a leader in relationships...not a follower. i have no doubt that life will look wonderful after a few short months of "emotional cleansing". you'll look back on this situation 8 years from now, shake your head, take a sip of your favorite starbucks coffee, and think to yourself..."i had a damn tough choice to make back then in my young life, and i made the correct one". most young women will face the same decision along the way. remember this always: never settle on guys that make you miserable and confused...seek out and appreciate guys that make you happy...and confident.
