test all these substances in a lab? But I can only speak from my own experience. I spent years in contact with chemicals and what did I get out? Tons of black specks for weeks and weeks. Now I'm getting out the brown color and I was a smoker. So for me, it's running true to form. I can't say I "feel" any different, but the difference it's made in my feet is pretty spectacular. I'm going to continue until the water remains fairly clear, which is supposed to happen. But if it doesn't, I will definitely report back and say so.
