There are many levels of communication, the least which are verbal.


One one sees that our reality is one interconnected field of flowing information, then we can see how (depending on awareness and thus access to various "levels") we can tap into aspects of this intercommunication.


I think what you are witnessing is the incongruency of informational flows from various channels emanating from one source (a human source in this case).
