I would imagine that your body is dumping the mercury and poss' other toxins and your liver cannot deal with this so deposits end up in the joints and your normal pathways are blocked giving you fatigue.
I found that when my liver was severely congested and i had pretty bad jaundice,severe fatigue,stomach cramps, yellow eyes
shoulder blade pain, pain round the liver, constipation, pale stool etc then all my joints ached esp my feet, nothing helped except the fasting.
Short fasts 3-5 days with 3-4 weeks in between (plenty of juicing) could possibly help the body rid itself of the toxins and put you in a position where you might deal with dmsa more effectively.
whatever you do, it will take time to improve your condition.
