trapper... I am grateful for ML's time here. with your implication, you are right that "some" of us may not have stumbled onto him without CZ, however, he teaches many others outside of CZ - neighbors, friends, family.
Following ML has nothing to do with it... it is common sense. Most who frequent ML's forums do not appear to be "followers" to me. They bring many self researched posts to the forums. Examples of self starters and people who have taken responsibility for themselves. These people also teach, help, and work with those around them... true leaders.
Most bring their own research and experiences to the fore... like the post of using milk of magnesia for poison oak if I remember right... or "why" calamine lotion works.
Understanding the pH balancing principles opens up the door to understand, and use what one has at hand to resolve symptoms, and cure...
I likely would have found ML one way or the other, with or without CZ, as I was already heading in that direction - I think I wandered into the acid/alkaline forum about a week before ML's...
I do not think you could call me a follower... however, without doubt, I have great "respect" for my teacher in spite of his failings... we are all human.
Common sense... and a background in organismal biology, ecology, and fundamental chemistry led me to pH balancing and the growth in knowledge I have enjoyed as a result I am sure.... so my background already had me on the "path".
As an example of where it has led me, the recent posts by another about betulinic acid, and its recent findings to benefit hepatitis, HIV, and cancer, led me to astragallus and betulinic acid's affinity to selenium.
Look up astragallus and any of these conditions... it will blow you away.
This knowledge in turn led me to synthetic betulinic acid/selenium based patents, which in turn led me to further understand how pharmaceutical companies patent synthetic compounds and then turn back around and accuse an herbal supplement of infringing on that patent - containing "THEIR" patent compound - the very herb or plant family that led them to their patent... biting the VERY hand that feeds them.
I have pointed out this exact scenario occurring at least twice before, once with erectile dysfunction drugs and herbs from the Berberidaceae family.
Not many respond to these posts... Who knows why... but it is a revelation in terms of pulling back the curtain.
It is far too easy to understand these things when one knows pH balancing principles... even a primitive/tribal man could do it... and DID.
We also know from pH balancing that the quality of the herb has a direct bearing on its efficacy... if any particular herb is too acidic or alkaline it affects its quality and efficacy... pH balancing and growing conditions.
Common sense...
I know that Kervran's biological transmutation theory could very easily be correct based upon pH balancing principles...
And that pleomorphism and microorganisms change in function are also based upon pH balancing principles.
I also know why and how zappers, magnetic and electronic devices work because of understanding these principles... and that they are not required for survival.
I also know why Colloidal Silver works... the VERY same reason limewater works, though silver and calcium have different acidic affinities - calcium being more broad spectrum efficacious.
I would never have thought these things without knowing and understanding the alkaline acid balancing principles... and although ML, did not outright state the things I am, his posts, and my research led me to discover them for myself.
A good "teacher" never does the work for the student. ML does not - and it pisses those people off who want the work done for them and refuse to take responsibility for themselves.
I would suspect that many here have benefited from my many posts - most of them based upon my understanding of the pH balancing principles.
I would suspect, those that read this one will benefit too... if from nothing else, the astragallus ditty will further open those dreamy/sleepy eyes.
