Well doctors do talk a lot of crap
As far as I'm aware a tumor is a solid mass and a cyst is hollow, but then a tumor could have cysts on or inside it so I guess it could be both.
If it has gone entirely though, and in a very short time, then it would seem it was just a cyst which contained something toxic enough to make you sick.
