I also am still experiencing post-removal GERD. I'm 5 months post-removal, and at about 2 1/2 months post-removal I developed terrible heartburn, reflux, and nausea.

Thank goodness, the horrible nausea and heartburn disappeared after about 5 weeks, but I'm still getting symptoms of GERD, and these seem to change as well. I realized the other day that I'm no longer having GERD-earaches in the middle of the night, or waking up with my throat burning. I also can't taste the acid at the back of my throat all day, which I think is a good sign. Still have a lump in my throat, though this is mostly after eating.

I'm not taking any Prilosec/Nexium for this, but digestive enzymes and probiotics have made my stomach feel better this past year.

Let's hope this fades away for all of us!
