Sodium bicarb was never an ingredient in the alk drink.

It is sometimes used in the baths and foot-soaks, perhaps occasionally in other ways. Do a search, there is lots of info in past posts.

You may also want to read posts regarding balance and preserving healthy ratios between the major alkaline minerals, which also include potassium, magnesium, calcium.
