A lot of the symptoms you describe sound like the adrenal fatigue. It wouldn't hurt to start taking vitamin C 2-4 grams of mineral ascorbate.

Two quick tests: Take a mirror and a flashlight into a totally dark room (like a closet). Shine the flashlight towards your eyes from the side of your face. If the pupils flutter, or don't stay constricted, then suspect adrenal fatigue.

Take a pinch of salt (unprocessed, but plain white will do if that is all you have) and put it in a glass of water. If you feel a little perked up, then suspect adrenal fatigue. Get some good unprocessed salt and add it to your food and in water. Fatigued adrenals need lots of salt and vitamin C.

If these two tests are positive, then consider getting a 24hr saliva cortisol test done. canaryclub.org has home test kits you can order. You also might want to pick up a couple of books on adrenal fatigue and check out some websites on the subject.

You also might want to take your basal temp in the morning before you get out of bed. If it is below 97.8F, then consider having your thyroid tested. Untreated thyroid disorders stress the adrenals and lead to adrenal fatigue.

is a good site to check out if you suspect thyroid problems. She has a good list of labwork to get: TSH, FT3, FT4, anti-tpo & tg-ab (to rule out hashimoto's), b12, ferritin, and 25-hydroxyvitamin D.
