well, I'm 50 now, is it time for my first mammogram? I think not!

I shudder to think of all the women that have undergone chemo, radiation, "preventive" mastectomies, etc to "treat" or "prevent" slow growing, non-threatening cancers such as ductal carcinoma in situ.

"to find breast tumors in an early and curable stage, before they become deadly"

many cancers NEVER become deadly, never impact quality of life.

Amazing that they are making this concession, I suppose.
