It sounds like you and I are going through some similar things piachka!

I am also seeing a naturopath who specializes in female hormone balance, and has helped me a lot. She has me using bioidentical progesterone cream (wild yam) and supplements to support my adrenal function. Saliva/urine tests showed that I had very, very low estrogen and progesterone, and that my cortisol was extremely high, taxing my adrenals. This test was about 3 months after removal, and I'll be tested again in a couple months after I've been through a few more cycles and finished my adrenal support plan.

I agree with you and Somers about immune function and hormones. Hard to believe, but I am 28 years old and have never had the flu before! Before Mirena I never even got colds, and then of course during the last year before removal I was plagued with the endless cycle of Bladder infections & Sinus Infections, with Antibiotic treatment leading to Yeast Infections. I also contracted a few nasty stomach infections and have taken a lot of Antibiotics this past year. Never again. Yuck.
