...In the early stages of this 'illness', I saw a liver specialist (in Ireland), mentioned the flush procedure and he completely dismissed it as folklore. I find the medical profession to be uninformed, often ignorant and living in the dark ages. As liver function tests were normal - "The problem is not with your liver", I think we all now know that this is not necessarily the case. If the test result is negative, they send you away. They are well able to charge modern day prices though!!
