Hi lmeyer,

I guess the thing that is really bad about us not getting the info about the side-effects is that so many women come on this forum saying that they were told by their doc that their side-effects were not caused my Mirena. So, these women, if they don't take it upon themselves to go on-line and search for info, are thinking that their issues are not related to this evil device.They have tons of tests done and are frightened that they have some horrible illness. Many spend hundreds and thousands of dollars trying to figure out what's wrong when it's the Mirena causing their problems.

What frightens me is that there are more than likely a lot more women out there being affected by this thing than we are aware of. They are suffering and will continue to suffer and probably get even worse the longer they leave this horrible device in their body.

You folks in Canada are lucky to be advised about the side-effects and at least you know that it can cause a lot of issues. Unfortunately, most of us were never told anything other than what's in the brochure. This thing is being marketed aggressively here and is being pushed by docs who think it's the greatest invention ever. It's really sad how many lives that it has affected in a bad way.....
