It could be related to the congestion and the loosening of related matter in your liver.

This is pure specualtion, however, if Dr. Clark is correct, then pathogens in the body are involved with most if not all disease *wow* - emphasis mine - and therefore possible that you disturb them by softening the stones with malic acid/juice resulting in an increased immune response.

I also personally note that some food items I am "allergic" to - or cause a reaction in my body - often cause a rise in temperature or subjective temp.

Did you actually take your temp?

I personally note a decreased temp at end of most days as per a challenged or hypo-thyroid as in Bob Mantz story perhaps???
