I'd guess that you would know if anemia exists; since you have been working with the health stuff for a long time. Certainly, your ND would know.

The only other thing I can think of are diseases of the intestine, such as Crohn’s disease or celiac disease. MAybe a bleeding polyp or colon cancer. Those things would relate to lower iron and other mineral absorption.
