Are you sure this is shingles?

I had shingles awhile back. It usually is only on one side of the body and runs along a nerve. It's very very painful. I felt numbness in the area (right rib cage) before the rash manifested.

I got the pharmaceutical within 72 hours because shingles can turn into long term post-neuralgic pain that lasts forever. There are very few pharmaceuticals I'd ever take but this was one of them. I totally hedged my bets on this.

I wish you a lot of luck if this was shingles.
