It's chemical poisons and solvents you get your hands into that make the parasite eggs hatch inside you. I've never been to Viet Nam, either. The drugs make your body poisoned like Doc Sutter's was with the agent orange. Doesn't matter where the poisons come from. Doctor's drugs are probably the worst for most people.
