This also happened to me; after removing most fillings 8 years ago the pains in my teeth and jaw disappeared.

Mercury poisoning has many stages and can be difficult to spot. The old homeopaths ingested mercury and their listings of symptoms include;
Night sweats,profuse, PERSPIRATION easily, foul smelling.
Salivation, profuse; keynote ; you wet your pillow at night.
flabby tongue (tooth marks on the side of the tongue, most people with fillings have this)
sensitivity to HEAT and COLD ; as easily chilled as overheated. (this is similar to hypo T, my comment)
All symptoms worse at night
Lots of infections; secretions are thin, slimy, acrid, burning. Swollen glands.
So if one have pains etc; if mercury caused it will be some of the symptoms above involved;

One of the best successes I had with homeopathy was when I had pregnancy itch in my second pregnancy (still had my fillings); I was going insane with the itch for weeks; and Merc D200 (homeopathic mercury potency) took it away in just hours. Next day completely gone.
The symptoms that made my homeopath prescribe Merc was nightsweats, worsening at evening /night, and flabby tongue + sensitivity to heat /cold.

Ps. In later stages one will find the autism like symptoms like withdrawal,need to create ORDER in a chaothic world, extremely closed type of person, fear of being attacked from behind, delusion everyone is an enemy etc.
I actually see this a lot in the mental hospital where I work sometimes.
