It is possible to OD on most minerals , elements etc, this is why it is so important to know what minerals , trace or otherwise, are in what you ingest.
Cisco and V were talking about study in a previous post in this thread, and they are correct. Find out what your body needs, in the way of minerals, vitamins, food etc, then find out what your getting via food, drink, and supplements. Basic maths, and recognising symptoms of deficiency or imbalance, will give you a clear indication of what you need and don't need to supplement. This will require a basic understanding of biology and chemistry, but is well worth the study.
A bit of geography and geology will tell you what minerals etc, you are getting in your food, this is important, so is knowing where your food is grown, and how it is grown.
Knowledge is power, with the gaining of knowledge you will be less likely to fall for scams and you'll be able to recognise the BS, without having to go through a lot of money and stress, constantly trying products that are useless at best, and dangerous at worst.
Don't wait for someone to tell you what to do, study, learn, discern, and you'll be able to do it for yourself :)
