It is very difficult to tell the difference between some gallbladder pain and pain caused by slow stomach emptying which is also accompanied by IBS type pain. Once the digestive system slows down it is unable to absorb sufficient nutrients and this may cause a thickening of the bile. You may suffer from biliary and gastric pain at the same time, the conditions are interleaved.
Get the digestive system working as good as possibly before any more liver-flushes. If it is slow you should notice the digestive system cramps about 2 to 4 hours after eating. You may regurgitate some fresh or raw foods. Your stools will be hard a made up of small balls or emerge bits at a time. It is difficult to know what to do because there doesn't appear to be a reason for half the people that suffer. You may notice that you have more dental work because the gastric reflux starts to dissolve the tooth enamel.
There is plenty of advice about gastroparesis although much of it is written about the most extreme form of the condition. Some relief can be attained by changes to eating habits and taking mild exercise after eating.
