i've just been taking tins of baked beans , putting them in a sieve and putting that under the tap to wash all the Sugar syrup away , it is alot easier than pre-soaking beans and then cooking them "

Just wondered why you are doing that, when you can buy tinned haricot beans without the sauce. Or is it cheaper to buy actual baked beans?
