Hi Dr Jeff,

It would be VERY interesting if you elaborated on each of those ten myths...


2. Candida is a yeast infection; Is it not a yeast? Or is it fungal then, morphed into the hyphead form?


3. Candida needs sugars to become pathogenic and spread; Why does it proliferate then?

4. Only immunosuppressed people get candida infections; Isn't it some immunosuppression, maybe not full blown like Aids or cancer - I had light neutropenia...


5. Pathogenic Candida requires an acid pH environment to grow; alkaline then?


6. Mercury feeds Candida; that I was sure of! Candida is an attempt by our body to protect itself from mercury toxicity!

7. Oxygen kills Candida; innit? That's what they do in those alternative medicine clinics like down in Mexico and the Hippocrate institute.

9. Use of antifungals needs to be rotated to eliminate Candida; then candida doesn't become "resistant" to one antifungal?
