I also have a tendency toward constipation after colonics. I think the theory is (based on info from the Holistic Horizons cleanse is) once you start to loosen the old hardened mucoid matter, it then becomes like a sponge when exposed, thereby swelling up and temporarily creating blockages. I had to quit that cleanse as it was too aggressive. I have continued the colonics, and alternated with enemas at home. The constipation let up after awhile, and I got pretty regular for awhile, but as I work on my liver, I'm getting blocked up again.
