Pardon the thread hijack. Couldn't help responding.
I am highly cautious about talking about some things, and this is one. So bear with me while I place out some seemingly disconnected dots. But they express a point.
My wife is a liver transplant recipient. I'll leave that at that.
I have had to deal with the fatty liver syndrome in someone. Such a thing scares me, and I am deeply respectful of this situation. I'll leave that at that.
This may meet with disapproving ears, but there are three things that I would highly recommend based on my experience. This in addition to lecithin which is a given.
UDOs Choice. A blend of EFAs. Omega 3, 6 and 9. Twice a day at a minimum.
Liddell HGH. Two to three times a day. It is a sublingual spray.
Milk thistle. Lots.
You mentioned this is nonalcohol related. The person may want to find out what an underlying condition may be. Hepatitis? Something? They must have had a liver biopsy which is how one learns of a fatty liver condition. It would help if they had labs that reveal the liver function, enzymes, etc. One can weigh a great deal based on numbers, especially if they are trended over time.
