If you've tried all of these things with no reults, you may just need to go to the doctor to get a lower GI or barium enema, if that is what he would prescribe. It sounds to me that you are probably suffering from IBS which compunds your problems.

Almosta year ago I was having lower abdominal pains. I thought I had a hernia. Instead of getting it checked, I waited a week to try a few things (nothing wrong with that it caused me undeu stress). Upon going to the doctor, he said it wasn't a hernia but diverticulosis. Well, each day caused me to get more anxious. My IBS, which was also diagnosed by the doc, seized my colon and stopped me up big time. I couldn't eat or go to the bathroom. Everything I took, fiber and laxatives, did not work at all.

The doctor saw my anxiety was causing the probelm and ordered a full check just to satisfy me. My blood results were fine, my colon was clear except for the few diverticulum and the spastic colon I had from the stress. I looked at the Xrays myself. WHAT A RELIEF! At any rate, my symptoms started clearing up. Now I know that I just have to work on the stress issue.

I don't know if this is happening to you but it just sounds that way from reading the posts. Good Luck!
