there is the power of the mind to take into consideration also. chris, you seem extremely motivated to get well and stay well. that counts for a lot. the best diet or fast or exercise or whatever will not have much effect on someone who doesn't believe they can/will get well.

my young nephew struggled with leukemia for 10 long years before he died at age 26. their route was through western medicine, and i do not at all belittle their struggle. i just wonder, sometimes.

thank you for sharing such personal history. you are a valuable store of knowledge!
