Half of my clients are ex vegetarians. I've lived in many new age towns...asheville NC, Berkeley, ect. So I have a lot of experience with Vegan health issues. For one its a lot more complicated than just should I eat more avocados or less. All the veggies I work on have low stomach acid. Cholecystokinin is triggered by correct acid levels. This hormone tells the GB and liver to secrete bile. Overtime, vegans...at least everyone I've ever tested with kinesiology have low B6, low B12, low zinc, and more. I was a vegan for 3 years. I had the same issues. All these nutes are required to make stomach acid. Taurine is a constituent of correct bile acid formation. It requires a functioning pancreas to be produced from cysteine. Most vegans I work on have weak pancreas from too much copper blocking zinc receptivity, and zinc deficiency. Zinc is required for proper insulin production. Taurine occurs naturally in food, especially in seafood and meat. The mean daily intake from omnivore diets was determined to be around 58 mg (range from 9 to 372 mg) and to be low or negligible from a strict vegan diet. So if you go see a chiro who uses Kinesiology theymight tell you a similar story and would probably recommend supps. This diet almost killed me so I'm not a fan. I have never had a vegetarian test well kinesiologically..ever. Usually the healthier looking vegans are yoga instructors or something similar, when I tested some of them as a challenge to their perceived health I was able to show them that their glands were overactive...making up for the deficiencies. Many yogis I saw in India had lost a lot of teeth by the time they were 50. Of course there are exceptions, but I don't care about the one in 10000. I care about what works for most.
Take Care,
