The most expensive health book I have cost $50 in 1950 and was written by a cuban that came into the USA to teach movie stars how to live/eat and exercise. Upon returning to cuba, he and his wife would lay naked in the sand on the beach until all the bad skin peeled off, believing that skin was loaded with the toxins they picked up in the cold states. Lana Turner was one of his clients he makes mention of in the book.
